Birth to Pre-K
We believe that a child’s relationship with God begins at a young age and that children learn best when they have strong adult leadership to guide and care for them.
If you have a newborn, please know that we have a nursing mothers room across from nursery room #1. It’s a private space where you can be comfortable and listen to the sermon in a quiet & secure environment.
K-6th grade
Our concentration for this age group is to help them understand what a loving, forgiving and grace-filled God we have. Through the lens of Jesus’ life and the stories in the Bible, we help kids understand how important it is to plant good seeds and use Jesus as an example of how we should live. At MORE, relationships are key and that is true for your kids too! It’s not just about teaching and memorizing Bible verses. It’s about relationship and creating an environment where your child feels loved, accepted and can trust their leaders.
MORE Kids also meets each Wednesday night at the church from 6:30-8:00pm.
Dinner is part of the evening’s program, as well as worship, teaching and crafts/games. These mid-week meetings follow the AISD school schedule, so we take a break in winter, spring and summer.
7th-12th grades
We meet every Sunday after worship during the 10:30am service. Our goal is to fully equip our kids to walk in a way that is pleasing to the Lord so that they will bear fruit in their lives. We want them to grow into an abundance of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
MORE Youth also meets each Wednesday night at the church from 6:30-8:00pm.
We serve dinner, have worship and a lesson and break into small groups for prayer and ministry.

At More Recovery, our goal is to help you learn how to pay attention to what is going on inside of your heart and to give you the tools you need to guard it moving forward. All of us deal with lack of power in some way, shape or form which manifests in various addictions and we want to help everyone to learn how to access God’s Power for recovery.
Childcare is available at the church.
To learn even more about this program please contact Lyndal Waldrip.

This meeting is held at More directly after More Recovery. Bob Crump, Chief Deputy at Randall County Sheriff’s Department, started this ministry as a way to bring Jesus, the word and His love to people in prison. It became so popular that when the prisoners were released, they still wanted “Crump Church”. So, MORE now hosts CRUMP CHURCH each week. It is open to the public but is geared more toward those who have been incarcerated and those who currently struggle with addiction or have in the past. It is a casual setting and we spend time applying scripture to our lives, in worship and in ministry to each other.
Childcare is available at the church.
Led by Lyndal Waldrip and Chantell Marler.
Contact the church to find out more about this group.
(Open to All Women)
Tuesday morning prayer is a place where women can truly dine together. We are a group of women who have a heart to see God’s fullness explode in each of our lives! We spend a brunt of the time in worship and personal prayer followed by time in discussion about real life topics. It’s our desire that women would be able to cheer one another on and into what the Lord has called for them to do! If you are looking for a place to be truly connect with other women, we’d love to have you!!

Here is where you will encounter the Living God and know the love of Jesus and the comfort of the Holy Spirit!
This is the backbone of the Rooms at MORE. Jesus said that sometimes the only way to be victorious over certain things is by prayer (Mark 9:29). In addition to prayer, there is also worship & contemplative prayer during the Wednesday evening gatherings. The Prayer Room is in the sanctuary and is always open in conjunction with the Healing & Prophetic Rooms. You can come soak and worship before and after your prophetic and healing room encounter.
(Open to All)
Do you wonder if God sees you or if he has a plan for your life? Are you in a place where you feel it’s hard to hear from God? If so, then come to the Prophetic Rooms and receive an encouraging word from the Lord. We don’t take appointments, so come and sign up early as we tend to fill up fast!
When entering our Prophetic Rooms, the ministers will be facing away from the door so as not to make any preconceived judgments. They will only be told you are a male or female. We call it “blind prophecy.” We will record your prophetic word for you so that you can listen to it again and again.

Here is where you will encounter the Living God and know the love of Jesus and the comfort of the Holy Spirit!
If you are sick in body or spirit, come to the Healing Rooms and let us agree with you for your healing. It IS God’s will for you to be healed! We don’t take appointments, so come and sign up early as we tend to fill up fast! The Healing Rooms at MORE are affiliated with the International Association of Healing Rooms. We are listed there as the Northwest Amarillo Healing Rooms.
(Open to those over the age of 50)
This group meets casually once a month at various locations. Going Up is a community group for all of us that are over the age of 50. The group eats together, sings together and has different topics of discussion during each meeting. The main purpose of this group is to get to know each other, pray for one another and to make new friends. It is always a lot of fun. The name, “Going Up”, is a reminder that we, as older Christians, are still ascending the mountain of faith. We will never be “Over the Hill” because we will never reach the summit in this lifetime.

The goal of the Welcome Ministry at MORE is for everyone to feel at home and comfortable when they enter our doors. (Not just guests, but everyone!) We desire for people to feel the love of God through us whether it’s through a hot cup of coffee, a kind word, a smile or a hug. This ministry is an extension of the Core Values of MORE.
“Be kind and merciful. Let no one ever come to you without coming better and happier. Be the living expression of God’s kindness to the poor. To the poor, to all who suffer and are lonely, give always a happy smile, give them your care, but also you heart.” – Mother Teresa
If you want to become a greeter or have any other questions please contact Becky Waldrip.
MORE prides itself on having a safe and secure environment for you and your family. Our Watchmen are the backbone of that security. They watch the children’s areas, hallways, meeting places and parking lot to protect our building and those within. Please contact the church if you have any questions or wish to join the team.
The Rooms at MORE are a mainstream ministry that Pastor Wendy Roach coordinates. Come receive healing prayer or a prophetic word or simply soak in the Prayer Room with our worship team. Learn more about The Rooms at MORE here or contact Wendy Roach for more details.
Altar ministry is a vital part of MORE. At the end of each Sunday service we have a time of ministry for those who need it. We offer encouraging words and lift our friends up in prayer, whether it be asking God for healing or simply guidance in a time of struggle. It’s an opportunity to serve God and those who you share a sanctuary with. We are a family and want to love on people right where they are. This ministry is at the heart of MORE’S motto: “Broken people getting healed; loving God and finding purpose.” We would be honored if you’d like us to pray for you or would love to visit with you if you’d like to be a part of this healing ministry. Please contact us for more information regarding this ministry.
Changing Our Community One Life at a Time
Based in the heart of San Jacinto, our center meets the needs of residents using tools such as food, hygiene items & baby supplies. Through relationship, we receive the opportunity to focus on deeper issues contributing to poverty in this neighborhood. MORE is proud to be a part of and support this community center. If you would like to know more about Acts Community please visit their website. You can also learn a bit more about Chad Conner, who oversees the center, on our leadership page. Feel free to contact him for more information.
The PREP program (Prisioner ReEntry Project) is a faith-based program at the Randall County Jail to help those incarcerated in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system to adapt and get a head start on life outside of prison, upon their release from TDCJ. They are trained through various programs and classes and are assisted in obtaining proper paperwork, autos, jobs, etc. before they get out. We rely heavily on employers to hire them and mentors meet with them on a regular basis. Administrative Pastor Lyndal Waldrip is the PREP Project Coordinator. If you want to help in any way with the PREP Program please Lyndal Waldrip.
